Have tried to study the library thread and have a small query
Regarding the application of 4 bar rule, does the first bar also have to be a higher high and higher low, or is it ok if its a normal bar?

First bar cannot have higher high and higher low. As it is first bar. When a bar is compared to its previous one, then only higher or lower comes into picture.

shinchin , the basic time frame we trading here is 30 min. if trade not triger upto 10.30 ,go by 30 min bar at 10.30..if again not trigger upto 11.00 bar we go by next 30 min bar at 11.00..

15 min bar are used when trade is triggered by 5 min bar & we try to shift sar at 15 min PIVOT

thank you vineet for the clarification. it seems I have misunderstood the following rule.

"We are in essence trading the 5min bar at 10am,and then trading the 15min charts till 11 am,trading the 30min charts with help from the 60 and 15 till 3 pm,and then trading the 15min charts till 3:30pm.

So,till 11 am,if we get a pivot on the 15min charts,raise stops to that pivot.If there is no pivots on the 15min charts,wait for 30min charts to complete 4 bars at 11:30am.......The 2 bar method kicks in.After the 4th completed bar,every new bar high is enough to raise stops to 2 bars back".

so, we have to see 15 min. charts only for reversal. and that too reversal based on pivots and not high lows.

please correct me if I am wrong.

no mm...
lv..actually i thought that 11.30 bar low is low of the day...so was mistaken
that as new low is made on 12.00 bar..we had to add....
