getbhav and data downloader r working. but we prefer urs.and want to contribute for ur project, though small

your Python 2.5 base Hakija downloader is best.
do yo have version on Python 3.2 ?
I Have created one tool in python 3.2 which pull data from google finance and create directly chart for Metatrader 4. but facing problem of making exe package and some other grapical issue.

Gupta ji. Is it possible that if bye chance nse server have any technically problem like today and we download bhavcopy from nse site manually and hakija pick from our computer as our path then convert that and generate same copy in EOD_FOLDER, with respect and regards nifty46 (Dhiraj Sood)

hello,,,this is in reference to your hakija downloader here i would like to bring to your notice that from 15/02/2012 it is unable to download all the files what it used to earlier and hence pls try to solve the issue as i find it difficult to download again all data .

Sorry for all the inconvenience caused due to non-working of Hakija since two days.
Anyways, I have fixed the issue.
The updated version can be found at

The icon has changed since I lost the original file. Kindly bear the ugly image!

Ramdas, I have never used python 3. I use pyinstaller for making exe, really easy to use and works like a charm.
Is your tool RT or end of day? You made the source open? Sounds interesting!
