1. Please confirm if this is a valid UMS. I believe the BRL line is steep.
2. Would you take this trade? If no, why not?
3. Should we wait till the end of the week on weekly chart to confirm the trade and then trade?

I tried to make EA ....many many months ago...so exp ...I have....

yes....please focus on the same project again...we should be able to create and test good EAs. I think EA builders should be useful for the task....

Great Idea!

I've developed similar system suited for Nifty in Amibroker. Basically it is a trend following system that takes all its decision by itself.

Entry (short or long)
SL (Initial & Trail)
Scale-in & Scal-out / Pyramiding
Entry filters (VWAP & ADX)
Position sizing based upon risk profile & capital availability

I've backtested this system on 18 months data. System best works on 30 min timeframe (why? because I feel Nifty has 30-35 min trend cycles) and achieved 40% success ratio. As this is trend following system trade success ratio may seem less number but this system has generated 400% profit (in extremly conservative settings.. i.e. risking only 2% of initial capital & no ploughing back profits).

Do let me know if you need code or algo for this. Also I will be more than happy to discuss other system ideas with you. I'm software professional & if needed I can help you building peice of code required.

Hi FT,

Drew 2 Lines on your chart...just eyeballing it..... while drawing is not very precise but gives an idea as to where Silver is headed......had there been more space to the right you would have got an idea of the Price and its EPA as well...!!!

Perhaps more accurate than GANN... Just have a cursory knowledge of what Gann did but must confess that he came very close to it.......this what you see is more to do with electronics...

Let me get a little free time from ongoing domestic commitments.....to get started in the New Thread...TTM

Hi Muthu,

I have never kept anything under wraps.... it was a huge challenge when one heard the chorus of this & that is impossible.... to tell you the truth, though it is already mentioned in some thread here at TJ.... I dropped out midway through 12th (SYJC as it is known here in Bombay), guess it was a blessing in disguise and never taking a 'No' for an answer... and the profound belief just like Action/Reaction everything happens for a reason...it is our ignorance that we shrug it off by saying it's impossible....when we don't find the reasons.

There are things that happened much earlier for which I was clueless as to why it happened that way.... not finding the answer, I simply didn't forget about it....it somewhere gets filed in a cabinet of my brain with a Tag 'Pending Reasons' & subsequently perhaps as quickly as the next day... or even as late as +5 years & doing something totally unrelated... I have this 'Eureka' moment...Oh..!!! now I know the reason that I didn't know for that 'Thing' and that unresolved issue untagged and out of the 'Cabinet' in my brain, but the so called 'Cabinet' still has tons of things that I haven't understood yet in life...perhaps there will always be I guess....!!!

Anyways, enough of my rambling.... have been busy with domestic issues will get active with the new thread 'TTM' after the 3rd week of this month....hopefully it will be well structured & easy for the readers to understand.
