One more!
If your bag has 4 red balls, 6 blue balls, 2 green balls, and 8 yellow balls, what would be the amount of balls you have to pull out without watching in the bag to get one pair of same color balls?

Explanation required with answer.

Maximum 5

coz

say all first 4 are different colored balls coming out (since it is w/o watching)
then next would match any one color and would complete a pair

Question:

312132

A six digit number 312132 has two 1's, two 2's and two 3's. This number has a very interesting attribute:

1 digit exists between two 1s, 2 digits exist between two 2's and 3 digits exist between two 3s.

Can you add two more 4s to become an eight digit number and still holding the above attributes plus 4 digits exist between two 4s?

question:

A weightless and perfectly flexible rope is hung over a weightless, frictionless pulley attached to the roof of a building. At one end is a weight which exactly counterbalances a monkey at the other end.

If the monkey begins to climb, what will happen to the weight - will it remain stationary, will it rise or will it fall?

Yes ... the weight and monkey would be equidistant from the pulley.
So if monkey rises, weight would rise too i.e the rope below the monkey would start getting longer as the weight is fixed to the end of the rope.

If the monkey keeps on climbing, at one point both the weight and the monkey would be touching the pulley !!!!
