Yes ... the weight and monkey would be equidistant from the pulley.
So if monkey rises, weight would rise too i.e the rope below the monkey would start getting longer as the weight is fixed to the end of the rope.

If the monkey keeps on climbing, at one point both the weight and the monkey would be touching the pulley !!!!

Logic is very simple. 0 degrees celcius = 32 degrees farenheit (std VIII teachings)
Since twice cold = 32/2=16 degrees farenheit ..

Using Jujl convert to degrees and u get -8.88889 degrees celcius
