If U can.....answer this

Ofcourse data is sufficient to draw a perfect conclusion.

Mr. Yellow is wearing the Violet tie.
Mr. Violet is wearing the Green tie.
Mr. Green is wearing the Yellow tie.
Of course it is the most probable solution but there is an assumption to be made here on behalf of Mr. Violet. Mr. Violet has not confirmed or denied the statement. Mr. yellow has confrimed that he is not wearing yellow tie and mr green has confirmed that he is not wearing green tie. It is a slight possibility that Mr. violet may be wearing violet and at even that time both mr yellow and green would have been wearing different color ties than their names and their statement would still be applicable to both of them under such condition.

hi

when three persons are having a conversation and A gives a statement which affects all three of them. B seconds that statement and C does not deny it, it can be safely assumed that C agrees with what A and B are saying.

regards

Question:

I have classified all the 26 English letters into two groups.

* W R T Y U I S F H J K L Z X C V N M
* Q E O P A D G B

On what criteria did I classified these letters?
Give up. Does not seem anything to do with:
- QWERTY layout
- numerical representation of letters
- shapes of the letters
- etc.

Need a hint.

Its not straight line and curves separate since RUSC are in first lot where all others are formed from straight lines and EA in the second lot where all others are made form curves.

So ....
thinking ... thingking ..... thinking ... thingking .....

Yes, that is what I said originally that
The data given is insufficient to draw a conclusion without making an assumption.

dear all,
like quiz, I'll post a question when I'll be free....try to answer these questions and prove that U R genius. that's why i named the thread ' If U can'.

my first question is:

There are 3 gentlemen in a meeting: Mr. Yellow, Mr. Green and Mr. violet. They are wearing yellow,green and violet ties. Mr. Yellow says: "Did you notice that the color of our ties are different from our names?" The person who is wearing the green tie says, "Yes, you are right!"

Do you know who is wearing what color tie?
@Smartboy,

dhat tere ki ... kaha ek puzzle le ke chipak gaye ho .....

Here is the solution with the logic behind it.

1. Since Mr Yellow says that "Did you notice that the color of our ties are different from our names?" means that Mr Yeloow can see a Yellow tie on one of the the other two persons.

2. Since the person wearing the Green tie says "Yes, you are right!" means that his name is not Mr Green.

3. His response to Mr Yellow tells us that Mr Yellow is not wearing Green Tie.

From pt 2 and Pt 3 we get that Mr Violet is wearing a Green Tie.
By elimination from the balance 2 we get that
Mr Yellow is wearing Violet Tie and Mr Green is wearing a Yellow Tie.

Hope your confusion in this regard is now clear .....

:)
