Here is the solution with the logic behind it.

1. Since Mr Yellow says that "Did you notice that the color of our ties are different from our names?" means that Mr Yeloow can see a Yellow tie on one of the the other two persons.

2. Since the person wearing the Green tie says "Yes, you are right!" means that his name is not Mr Green.

3. His response to Mr Yellow tells us that Mr Yellow is not wearing Green Tie.

From pt 2 and Pt 3 we get that Mr Violet is wearing a Green Tie.
By elimination from the balance 2 we get that
Mr Yellow is wearing Violet Tie and Mr Green is wearing a Yellow Tie.

Hope your confusion in this regard is now clear .....

Solution:

The letters are classified depending on how many enclosed areas there are within the character. Sounds crazy for the letters R, E and G placed in the wrong group? No. Write them all in small letters and check once again.

The first group have zero enclosed space where as second group have one or more than one enclosed spaces.

Stop looking at numbers. Write them in words and try.

The only vowel they contain, when written in words is the letter E. So next number that has this characteristic is 20 (Twenty).
