The SL would be the High/Low of the candle touching the ATP candle and whic trade trigerred based on the candle touching the ATP. In this it would be 282.40 and not 282.50 as per your chart candle. Pls find the chart attached...

DEAR Karthik

just clear one doubt

in the attached chart,no.1,2,3 candle closed below the atp

now low of which candle is to be considered to initiate trade, 1 or 3

thanks

Since most traders loose money even after doing lots of TA/FA, I can suggest one simple strategy to make money. Just convince your broker to interchange the Buy and Sell button on your trading terminal. If this can be achieved somehow without you knowing it, even better.

Well said Smart.
I am unable to understand the Traders psychology till today like pt's Tukka strategy.
I had tried to explain to the traders in the Broker office, SG's Quadra,Yr Trading with oscillator(esp over bought/sold strategy,Karthik's ATP.
All,very simple to make money consistently.
RR,

It seems you have gone through the cream threads on this forum. Ever thought about combining SG's Quadra, ST's oscillator and Raghav's price action together ?

It should be a great combination. The Quadra is great and simple but it has steep SLs many of the times and gives signal a bit late (obvious disadvantage of moving average corss over method). However, if one can spot the reversal using candlestick patterns and oscillators, most of the loosing trades can be filtered.

Hi,

Ya just checked that AFL ...give you the result of the same for comparison....

As per AFL sbin equity of nse ATP is 2476.77 on 4 jan 2013.

but it should be 2475.68(value/traded qty)--(3393163841/1370595)...

So we need to update ATP of nse into amibroker...to use it correctly.

Regards,
Kedar
That is the problem with the datafeed which is feeding data into the Amibroker. Not the problem with the AFL. There will always be a slight difference between the NSE site and the AFL values. The NSE values are to be considered only for calculation purposes.
