I would also like to know that as you told 1% risk..but if we assume, an average trader can have capital of 10 lacs..so he cant take risk of more than 10,000 rs in futures...but as in india ,we are not allowed to short in cash..so we have to choose future instrument only...but different lot size can be a problem..so how we decide our position size according to our money management rule..as in future lot size is predecided by nse..so how do we decide on position size in future lots

I am telling my trading money management method...

My total trading capital is Rs.3,60,000 /- only

my stock watch list was 25 but recently i changed that to 36 stocks (i mentioned earlier posts )

each stock allocation is Rs.10000 /-

and when ever a entry comes i buy amount worth 10000

Ex: each stock allocated capital 10000

suppose stock price 100

maximum quantity eligibility 100

risk 1 % is equal to 100 Rs.

if stop loss is rs. 5

total risk is 500 rs.

so i will take 20 shares only in that stock risk 100 Rs.

brother if any MM is better than this tell me i also study that

Let me add my two bites here ...MM under f and o is different, because as you know the lot size is one factor another is risk % .......your capital should be atleast 36 Lacs to trade all the scrip for f and o...(as per list of niftyoption)
which for a normal person it is bit difficult so in case of short call we can only take stock options(puts)..
Mr.Niftyoption is a experienced trader and nice person ..only for cash market we will discuss...

Please share your charts and i will also post some charts according to his method ..
