Penny stocks are always dangerous
Mechanics of penny stocks are different from big priced stocks...
Trader should develop skill to trade penny stocks rather than avoiding it saying that its dangerous..
Kitex was a penny stock and now its trading at 1000 level... Everything having good and bads... we should always think positive .

Dont afraid of trading penny stocks... :D

Daily Chart of AshokLey

Weekly Trendlines/Support/Resistance=Blue Colour
Daily Trendlines/Support/Resistance=Yellow Colour

Normally I do not track penny stocks ,but this one caught my eye.

Ashok Leyland again could have been easily tracked by following 52 Week high.
First it broke 52 Week high on 11/4/2014 at Rs 25.25.From then it has been a continuous uptrend till now.
Which penny stock have market cap of 21000 cr???

It's not a question of being afraid. It's a question of understanding manipulation.
Trading/investing is a serious business and we should take all precautions of protecting our hard earned money.

The reason I cite fundamentals was that even penny stocks if backed by good fundamentals give good returns.

We have to grow up from reckless gambling investors into mature savvy investors.
If we don't do that we have to be stuck in bad investments and keep on trying to understand what went wrong with a stock which continuously keep hitting upper/lower circuits.

How do you know Merill Lynch has bought this stock ?
They may have sold it.

Understand one thing ,if any big firm buys stock ,we retail traders are the last to know. All such news are leaked at the right time of distribution. If any big firms buys a stock , it is never disclosed so early to anyone.

We have to understand the mechanics of penny stocks and the market dynamics in all to understand what is good and what is bad. This is not child's play.

Check Kitex garments for example ,backed by good fundamentals.

If thinking positive is the case , you should not crib about the daily -5% lower circuit in this stock.
You have responsibly made a decision to invest in it and stick with it.
Don't be afraid of remaining in a penny stock if you are taking even paper losses.

Is market cap the only criteria for investment ???

Is performance underrated ?

Not all equity investments are equal. That is certainly the case when it comes to investing in the shares of small, medium and large companies.

Investing in the shares of small companies offers a risk return profile vastly different to that of medium sized companies, and the largest of equities.

Any portfolio should have a balanced mixture of Small,Mid and Large cap stocks.

Any one is free to invest his money in whatever company he wants as per his risk.
