Is there a way to find the sector rotations..
Not only that contributes to nifty.. but for investment as well.
Like currently all organics/chemical/plastics are flying..
Just Sharing my views.

Seniors can comment/correct, provide better methods.

With Relative Strength ranking you can pick the best stocks in the best sector.

Having said that , it is a difficult process.

Difficult with Nifty , since the Index is skewed heavily towards Banks, IT, Power and does not represent the true picture.

Attached is the image for sectoral performance of stocks in NSE for last 3 months.

A simple idea is to select a couple of strong stocks from a strong sector and review either weekly/monthly/quarterly for outperformance/underperformance.

Seasonality helps you to understand at what time in a year and at what phase in a business cycle a particular sector will underperform or outperform.

Either you can review/analyse/churn your own portfolio or give it to professionals.
