What about avg loss? % trades winniing?

You could have a 25 point winning trade and a 35 point losing trade.... and loose money if you hit a dd period.

I would say u dont know anything about back testing. Any system tester first looks at the risk profile of the system and not the profit profile

Dude i have considered losses too. This 1979 points are after deducting the losses. I am not a fool to calculate only the profit giving trades. There were some losses too. Sometimes contiuously 4 to 5 trades. I had some big winners. One gave me a massive 400+ points in a single trade. I wanted to post my backtesting results. Its an image. Can you tell me how to upload it to this thread.

Who said i am not selfish? I am. I wont charge anything if people are profitable with my tips but yeah, if people visit my blog dont i get satisfaction? Thats enf for me. Also i am a Software Engineer, and i cant do a business of giving tips and collecting money from them. Doing this for additional income. And yeah i ll help new traders though i am not an expert in this.

These are the manual back test results of my latest trading system.
Total profit points 1980 in 79 trades averaging 25 points in each trade
Trading period jan 13 to may 23

Distribution is totally skewed. The trades where you see yourself making 100 to 400 points, most will be cut off when trading in real time around 30 to 50 points. Also, the loss per trade, is all over the place from 1 point to 70 points. If you remove 2 or 3 big winners, the avg profit will be less than the avg loss.

I am justa small time trader, so take my comments accordingly. I dont know anything about backtesting.
