The monthly return on average would be 10-15% per month keeping 5l as initial capital.

Thanks,
MT
MT,

That is pretty awesome!! Is it net of all charges ??
compounding p.m. your yearly returns are 310-535%.

you are doing very good.
If its not asking for too much, can you share more data like how much you are paying as brokerage on average p.m.? Do automated trading also get any emotional pressures or you have been able to weed it out completely ?

Hi Hauler,
Compounding p.m is not that easy as it seems. I usually donot compound mom basis. These figures are net profit.
I pay 15 rs per executed order and my broker is compositeedge. I do around 100 trades in a month, so it would be 10k(brokerage + taxs) and 15k(slippages)= 25k.
Yes, emotional pressures were alot when i was new and at that time all of my logic wad not automated, I had to trail my sl manually. So I had to look at the screen all the time, whhich was emotionally draining.
Now I have made sure that every type of situation in the market is being dealt automatically. I dont look at the screen at all whole day.
My daily routine is .. start the model at 9 am.. do your research on future ideas.. brainstorm a little... turn off at market close.
So yeah emotions weeded out completely.

Thanks,
MT

Hi, Have you tested this system on a 30 mins time frame? If not, why only 10 min tf? Just wondering!

"Too big" would be subjective. I trade intraday on a 30 min Tf which pretty decent results. Guess each one to his own :) Wish you all the luck.
I guess each strategy to is own is more apt.. I have my reasons for 10 mins, although 15 mins works just as fine.. Good luck to you too.

Thanks,
MT

On Completion of the candle ??
Yes!. I trade all time frames. Daily & Hourly for positional trades. 30 Mins for intraday scalps. When im trading intraday im usually looking for gravestone dojis, bullish hammers or spinning tops specially after a nice big move either on the upside or downside. Never fails to leave a decent profit for the day.

Apologies if i hijacked the thread for a bit.
