Dear Raghav good thread. Congrts on it.

One question if u take in right spirit ...

Why charts r posted on tht day when trade work well ... i am sure before day start u don know day is going to be good or bad ... y not post chart from day when trade does not work out .. tht will be more learning.... isnt it?

Mahindra
Dear Mahindra,

One of the best question I have come across in a while.Your question: Why do I post charts of only winning trades.Great question..

Answer: This trading world is full of negatives. If you go through most of the posts in any forum ,they say daytrading is dangerous, highyl harmfull etc etc.
The beginners are scared. But they feel something is there in the market. Then they go and put their money without any knowledge and effort and practice and lose big time. Its a systematic ploy by media, brokers and some tip service providers

I wanted to change this game works.Bring confidence and bring a culture of effort and practice among new comers. For that no one listen to me if I say daytrading can be done successfully. I had to show it to them ,bring confidence.Thats why I post winning trades. to bring confidence.Like all others I lose 3 out of 10 trades, 4 out of 10 trades. But when I make gains its big because this method has logic,MM,science and aritthmetic involved in it.The core of of the method is in what it preaches. The mass psychology.

My efforts,as you can see, has started yielding results.

Anyway, you have said it, we shall try to post even losing trades going forward.

Saint's method recommends Stoch settings of 8,3,4. Pl see this post:
http://www.traderji.com/day-trading/30182-how-trade-oscillator-47.html#post552881

Whereas, the above AFL of rajeabc sets the parameters as 3,8,4.

My question is: If you are following the OB/OS strategy of Saint, the settings are supposed to be the same in your strategy also as those of Saint, is it not? How come they are different here?

Or, is it that I am missing something here?

Truth is universal.
"Short when BB pierces green and red horizontally and stoch in OB Go long when BB pierces Red green horizontally and stoch in OS".Stoploss is always top of pierced RED bar for shorting and pierced Green bar for long"
Sorry for the dumb question, but can you please elaborate the above rule?

I think I did not understand these two things:

1. Piercing "horizontally"

2. About stop losses

Though there is a separate thread on BB, I notice that the material is spread along several posts in that thread. Since you mention piercing of BB quite often, we would be obliged if you can give a summary of BB piercing setup in a nutshell - preferably illustrated with the help of any chart.

Thanks..

Saint does not have any method based on Stochastics or any other oscillator. All his methods are based on pure price action and oscillators and its settings are the once I used and posted in my thread " How to trade with oscillators".....so if they don't work you know whom to blame...it is me and not Saint :D

Yes, I am sorry. It was your thread "How to trade with Oscillators" that these settings of 8,3,4 were mentioned.

And here, in this Raghav's strategy, settings of 3,8,4 seem to be used.

It's not that the settings are working or not working; I thought I would get it clarified, whether my understanding of the settings is proper or not.

So, the same question again:

8,3,4 or 3,8,4?

Re: Reg:Baba Ramdev and Anna Hazare

Samarth Ramdas once told Shivaji - "There is Political power, there is money power, there is muscle power, there is soul power and there is godly power".

first three types of powers may dance for a while but the winner will be last two types of powers."He further tells Shivaji."You have none of the above three ,but you have enough of last two.Go ahead and you will be winner".Infact Shivaji eliminated intruders through sheer soul power..

Ramdev......................
Use of Muscle power and political power at midnight. How long can it last?

Murthyavr,

Don't get all knotted up... with the settings...... Charts with stochastic from TT always shows the settings in a different order than it is in most charting software....
