Because if price attracts volumes, then it would become a derivative of price and would lose its relevance. Just because people have been beleiving it does not mean it is true. See the bare facts and ground reality. Sometimes you need to unlearn to become educated.
There is very less premium in options at the start of the week. 21500 call just has a Rs.50 premium over spot. I am going short positionally in BN with a hedge of this call. My max risk would be this premium of Rs.50. But looking at the absence of premium we may go sideways in this expiry. Let me take a chance.
On hindsight, another give away was that 21500 CE OBV was below zero even when it made a high of 240 yesterday. So market makers were shorting this call.
Watching crude mini, just for learning purposes ..
OBV below 200 and 36 and below PDC and 11am
Crude caught between 36 and 200
for short , do we wait for price to close below 200 or since trend in OBV is in place, can we short the ema?
At the point where I have marked long, OBV was above 11 am and abvoe 200 and 36 and price also abvoe 200 and 36. but OBV below PDC (though above 11 am), would you take long there or only above PDC?
