Still "BEARS NOT GETTING SQUEEZED" my dear......wait and sooner you will see NF target > 4000 and then 3500....:)
@pav, this mite seem rude but I usually don't like to live in fantasies of what is going to happen months or years later, i like too see what is happening rite now at the moment.

Live the life what it is today dont worry abt whats in store in future

He foretold of the ST reversal, and then was substantiating his analysis. So, yes, for the ST the bears are getting squeezed.
If he plans on riding this back to 5700 or something bizarre like that, then it will be his account equity that will be feeling the squeeze.

I think, he, like me, is viewing this as a ST correction.
@4xpipcounter I m neither a bull nor a bear , i wud love to see 6000 on the board as much as i wud love to see 4000, so as far as the trend goes i m simply with it.
I wanted to ask u one thing what is this "ST reversal". I have not heard this term before. Cud u plz elaborate more.

Hello Rahul,

Can you elaborate more on how you were very sure on this rally, I mean any strategy which you would like to share OR something like that.

@trade4joisar , well i m a really str8 fed guy ,unlike sudoku. So i will talk very st8 and i think i m not a technical analyst at all so sometimes u may find it weird at sometimes how i give my reversals. I m a "Steam Trader" and wud attribute this aspect to my experience in market. By "Steam Trading" i mean the intensity of fall or rise for which there is no indicator in this world, its just feelings u get. I love to predict reversals and do also feel that the " Meat of a Move" lies only in the reversals and trend comes after reversal which is most of the times a slow and boring process for me :).

And dont take me wrong by the term experience, i m not a 50 yr old guy :). Its just my passion for the mkts that drive me.

ST reversal-- Short-term reversal.

The larger trend is still south, but for now it has reversed. The larger picture is now being corrected. If the correction is to continue once we get to circa 5200, then it will have to go east first, because it will bump into a fresh 4-hour cloud. Depended on the nature of the move, it could contain, and thrust price action south again.

There are a few of the similar indications that was evident when price hit the dip at 5171. (I was forecasting 5220 since the 6000's.) That led to the corrective process that sent price action back to 5704 before we continued in the trip south. The monthly's compass still seems to be pointing south, which is why I'm holding to this being a "ST reversal".

BTW, I guess I'm like you inasmuch I could care less which the market goes. When I hop on board, I just want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction.

@4xpipcounter I m neither a bull nor a bear , i wud love to see 6000 on the board as much as i wud love to see 4000, so as far as the trend goes i m simply with it.

Rahu, I wanted to address this comment you made,

First, I'm not questioning you, personally. I've read many of your posts, and even though our methodologies are very dissimilar, you seem to be very good and accomplished and what you do. Nevertheless, there are also many contributors of this thread that are also excellent traders, so they may know what I am driving at.

For you, a "fantasy world" may be what is going to happen as late as tomorrow. OTOH, if you talk to a position trader, the moment might be what is going to happen 2 months from now, and the only thing that is happening today is ascertaining an entry point.

I know you made it clear you did not want to be rude, but I dare not say it is a fantasy world if someone makes a forecast, this is where the market will be 2 months from now, and hold the position until then.
I view myself and all other good traders as professionals. This is far from a fantasy world

LOL, I got a friend in the UK that if you put him in your mode of thinking, you are living in a fantasy world. He can't see no further than 10 minutes from now. He's an institutional trader who makes 20 trades per day and 17 are winners.
In essence, the "rite now at the moment" has a bit of a different meaning to all of us.

Absolutely correct, i do accept ur point of view. And u r definitely correct that it is upon the individual how he wants to see a particular thing. Like their r minute traders, hour traders and day traders , monthly traders and so on. So each individual can be correct depending upon the time frame he uses without it being necessary that other one being wrong

In the meanwhile "I'm RAHUL" not RAHU (note the additional L plz) , bcoz rahu in india means "Sanskrit name for the Dragon's Head" and sthg reffering to sacred literature. ;)

LOL, oops. Sorry about that.
I didn't know that. I'm from the USA, so I hope you understand. I'll remember the "l" next time, Rahul.
Thanks for the correction.
