No, all my forecasts are entirely my own. The example posted was only to show how well it works when it works. In any post if I post something that is not mine, I state very clearly that it is not my forecast.

As said earlier, it is not mine, and remember that orbits are not circular, but elliptical.
For example, 100 degrees of mars in 2009, is totally different from 100 degrees of mars in 2011.
I am sorry, I was looking at only this one post where you alluded to someone calculating this.

And a follow up.
1) So what is your methodology, is it pure astro as your user name suggests, or are there other things?
2) if it is a mix, what is the split between astro and non-astro.

As I said, I am a non believer, but I am willing to sit down with believers and understand their perspective. If you already discussed these, you can point me to those threads. Or just let it flow out in response to this comment.

Hi Taurus
First of all, thank you for all those wonderful cartoon strips. My absolute favorite was the one with "Dad, I am thinking of making career in organized crime..." :D

Talking about astro, let me tell you I have had met a couple of most amazing fortune tellers in my life. I remember my friend taking me to this guy. An educated guy. I was almost a fresh graduate that time, and had just started my own business. So this guy asked me my DOB, time and place of birth etc. He drew some boxes on paper with his pencil, put some symbols in there. Calculated on his fingers. And then said, 'Next year by this time you will be somewhere in Germany."
And I went, whoa! I mean if he had said you'd go abroad, it wouldn't have surprised me. Lots of time I had been told before. But Germany, with so much straight face?

Guess what, I was in Frankfurt - in just 8 months. I don't know till todate how things conspired so fast all around me to get me there!

As the wise saying goes: There is more under the heavens and on earth that man can comprehend.

Thanks and you too!!
Because 21/9 is a low and the next turn date. :D
To give you an idea how accurate astro can be.........

This is someone else's calculation
He forecasted a Nifty low of 5330.4 on the 25th of May
On 25/5 Sun subtends = 0.5262 degrees
On 25/5 Sun distance from earth = 1.013 astronomical units
1.013 x 5262 = 5330.406

5330.4 was 0.6 point above the actual Nifty low of 5329.8
The relationship repeats only at specific planetary angles.
Don't know if it is always this accurate:eek: but defnitely better than trading RSI oversold. :p :D
Before you ask, no, he didn't tell me the angles.
There are some truly amazing astro guys out there, but very few come forward.

Astro has many advantages over TA, turn dates and price forecasts are visible years in advance.
Method is the only thing I prefer not to discuss. :D
Whatever methods I use came from lots of effort and don't always work. :D
Since you are in the US, why invest here when you can get into any number of hedge funds?
Seykota does above 200% every year without fail. There are some terrific astro hedgies in London too. A 3 year investment compounded would make a good nest egg.

Hi Eagle, you are most welcome. :D
I have seen charts that make me wonder if there is anything in this world that is not predestined.

I am not in US. I am in good old land of corruption and Anna.

I might be an expert in using wrong words, so let me try again. I know about astro in the sense that it is published in the newspapers, and I know astro in the sense that you can go to some websites and check your horoscope. I am familiar with the zodiac system. However, beyond that my knowledge is zero as it relates to trading. If I wanted to understand how astro relates to trading, I can use generally applicable astrological principles or I can look for astro as it relates to trading. A google search shows some links but for me to critically evaluate them will take time. I do not want you to disclose any methods or formulas you do not want to share. The question is, if I want to learn this approach, what will be a good place to start? Thx.

What you are talking about is astrology, and I am talking about astronomy. There is some common ground, but the divide is where all the action is. :D
My basics came from a hedge fund friend in NYC, no idea of websites. Even the software is custom.
Very few astro trading sites will discuss methods, whatever you get will be your own insights.
The learning curve is very steep, but so are the rewards. :p :D

Funny you said that, Taurus. During college time I read a book about Cheiro, the legendary palmist. It told of a story in which Cheiro looked at a duchess' hand and predicted how and when she would be crushed to death under a horse carriage. she stopped riding and going near any horse carriage. Cutting the long story short, on the predicted day, she forgot and rode the horse carriage, which turned upside down on its way, crushing her underneath.
Thinking about it still gives me creeps sometimes.

BTW, if I let you know the privately written, unpublished experiences of a swiss banker and trader, a good friend of Jesse Livermore, you guys would fold up all the charts and play the market 'blind' from tomorrow. :p
