Why is it that in our indian mkts like madness we open 4-5% down but see NASDAQ AND DOW , the bad news is in their territory then also they have opened just 2.5 and .80 % down only???
Why is it so different>?????? These mkts go down very slowly and ours falls like a broken bench from a merry go rounD?????

Yah its true that they are not such worried than Indians for these bad news.
See Dow is smartly recovered to just -200..and going.. Recently on all bad news dow tries to recover even to green. Unfortunately its our fate, we most times take double impact on bad news.

EUs which are not open now will open in red in the following days in RED, we have already taken the red and lost a lot...again we will take the EU and US cues tomorrow and will loose further...:rolleyes:

IBN 27.85 -2.00 (-6.70%)
INFY 35.19 -2.05 (-5.50%)
SAY 18.95 -2.13 (-10.10%)
WIT 10.21 -0.47 (-4.40%)

r we gonna c relief rally 2mrow?
i think we have already lost much today... ADRs are reacting to Lehman news for the first time now...
even tomorrow at open, we will be having most Asian mkts (which were closed today) bleeding...
for us, all these NEWS have been factored in... unless AIG adds more fuel to power...
i guess, we'll be following our own technicals...
EU & Dow both are recovering from lows (like we did intraday today)
SGX is already at 4100...

watch out for 11K on Dow, if u r following global cues

It should mind its own technicals tomorrow rather than taking EU and US cues, but the sad thing is our market will look into those cues tomorrow too...as always.

Yeah you are right , on friday was there any bad news ? IIP came at much better rate but still we went in to green and then down 340 points ? ?
There is so much manipulations in indan mkts and some investors are like sheeps , where there brokers throw them they go there.
Anyways we have to live with it , would have to go to US to trade in DOW.

May be taking a US Trading account and trade over night in Dow will be more better than taking this double impact. ;) :0 ;)

My readings on the chart are.. All indicators negative, adx rising means market getting in to trend( which is bearish).
But historically on jan fall o.i. put cal ratio made low of 0.64 something( plz correct me,m not xactly sure).Market reaching oversold zone, but as vix is yet not spiked that means new supply is waiting down the line.Still there are investors not shaken out.Lot of complacency still in the system . Its matter of time for shaking out weak hands.it will be a final showdown. And there is higher probability that we may touch previous lows. There is a kangaroo tail which believed that, helps to move the market against it, as its name, but for confirmation we need at least two such tails. so we might retest year lows on closing basis and we may even go in lower range on intra day basis.
p.s. my views are all hypothetical and lot of assumptions.By no way i am suggesting it must happen .Use chart as a basic data.
