Nifty Futures Trading Part 2 (Positional)

I am going to cover my shorts either at 2860 or below as intra chart directs,but 1 thing sure i am not going to carry Fut short overnight from today,may be in options not Fut.

Head & Shoulder does not appear in a downtrend.
Even if the so-called target is achieved, it does not prove that the pattern was correct.

Head & shoulder is just the name of a pattern ryt ? A rally followed by a deep retracement signals weakness and another rally making new highs and not able to sustain and retracing back in. Finally a weak rally unable to make a new high confirms the lack of conviction and the pattern comes into play. i don't think it matters if it appears in down or up trend. it has its own individuality.

But that does not give us any measurement objective. Further, all the price moves and trend reversals happen in the manner described by you. It does not make a pattern on its own.

what i had posted then was an incomplete H&S... when 3800 was going to be TESTED for one more time (which later proved to be the LAST time)...

i just wanted to mention that if that time 3800 breaks, it would complete an H&S pattern with neck 3800
