Re: Is it Wolfe?

THIS MARKET (COCKTAIL OF BULLS, BEARS, WOLVES, CATS, DOGS,PIGS ETC ETC) IS VERY SMART...
IT WILL HAVE ITS OWN WAY.
IF WE CAN CATCH DIRECTION.. GOOD.
IF NOT .. THERE IS ALWAYS STOP LOSS TO BAIL US OUT

AJAX
Yes of Course! For small traders only stop losses are there to bail them out.
If we were LTCM, Fed were there to bail us out and we could have forgotten about stop-losses. :)

Re: Time to Stick my Neck Out ,Nifty 7300

I would leave the answer to the question to Saint but would like to comment on this particular aspect.

First of all, even if there is a GTC order facility, it'll trigger only when the market opens next day. If there is a huge gap down and market reverses, this order may get triggered at the low of the day as wll.

About a 100-150 point gap down, it's only 2-3% move which can be fairly expected in any market. If such a move can kill a trader then he seriously needs to revise his position size and leverage.
Yes, makes sense. 'kill you' was an exaggeration - if your expectation from a typical trade is ~40 points, a tripple digit drop puts quite a dent.

If the expectation is ~40 points, then I do not think we should carry any overnight position.

Re: Time to Stick my Neck Out ,Nifty 7300

There's resist at 4900-4910 & with FIIs net sellers y'day, doubtful how long the 'decoupling' will last.
Yes that is a major doubt. 4870 was expected resistence being 61.8% fib of the rally from 4400-5600 and BB TOP on Hourly Chart. It has got a jolt there. Let's see what developes herefrom especially if it will cause coupling tonight or not.
