glad to see 3050 broken. new lows created. new hopes created. shud cross 3040 and end there. very good as Dow FUT are also supporting this view. But looks like last min. short covering will spoil the game.

entered fresh shorts there too around 3145...

new2sm, party continues tomorrow but i may enjoy it only till sensex is in 5 figures...
below that, i m "morally" out of trading soul

sensex did not dip to 4 figures today, though nifty made fresh lows...

looking at the closing prices, i feel that both 3K & 10K may reach together
(and that "may" arrest some more downfall)

TSunil, everyone agrees that 2970 for Nifty and somewhere between 9700-9900 for Sensex lies the 61.8% retracement level of the 2002-2008 bull run...so I think it makes perfect logical sense that both Nifty and Sensex test those levels together..these levels could provide huge support and if this is broken, good luck...we will see Nifty levels around 2500 for sure, which corresponds to 8000 level for Sensex....

so lets hope we open GAP DOWN tomorrow and then we close our shorts and then we can see a rally from there on...

personally, i rarely carry forward any trade....
even today, i have not carried forward anything... like to have an unbiased mind before start of any day

I prefer to enter into shorts in morning, and remove them (i mean, exit them) by EOD
