i have seen both in oct and jan...
but those were quick,this one is literally bleeding everyone to deat....350+ points on nifty almost 20% in a single trading session will wipe out a trader in one day if he is on the wrong side of trade....

I read it on a thread only.

18th/19th Oct, 2007 was another circuit day and also in Jan, possibly 21 was another. Were you not trading those days?

Da, i think ur early morning's 2830 (or camarilla's S4) has a cousin in 2730..
both were good entry points, with a 10-15 point stop...

this is what i have learnt from u, since past days.... choose an entry point with least possible Stop (i add RSI 1min above 60-65) to it, and then just enjoy the LL LH slide

that's as per theory...

it's buy at S3 or on crossing S3 from below
it's a sell below S4

Similiarly, it's a sell at R3 or on crossing R3 from top
it's a buy above R4

Thanks Kapil and Sunil for clearing that doubt. In that case 2883 was never breached so shud not have taken long position.hmmm. But what is pity is there is no levels below that. Classic and Woodie have no such limits. But I think more r&d with carm. is needed.

All concept of Circuit is wrong here,Sunil plz post copy of the Circular from SEBI/NSE site after Mkt Hrs at your suitable time.

Any MAD rush of Price is halted by Circuit to cool off the heat,not these type of slow process.

damn did u hear that on cnbc....if nifty falls more than 15% after 2.30,no lower circuit....lc can happen only before 2.30....

New2, we can have one more level below S4 too... just adjust the formula accordingly...
& u know, that S5 level comes to 2728...
u can see 2730's resistance after it broke down...
