she had mentioned this target (sub-2600) just few days back when she came back from delhi...
and she's the one who stopped me/guided me from taking any haphazard long position, which my stupid "investor" mind was about to take at around 3000-3100 levels...

These percentages are translated into absolute points of index variations on a quarterly basis. At the end of each quarter, these absolute points of index variations are revised for the applicability for the next quarter. The absolute points are calculated based on closing level of index on the last day of the trading in a quarter and rounded off to the nearest 10 points in case of S&P CNX Nifty.

the closing level of spot as on 30-sept (quater ending) was 3932
10% of 3932 comes to 390 points, rounding off...
so, it's not a particular level or %, but this pre-decided no. of points which will stay in effect till remainder of quarter ending 31-Dec-08
(ie, till 31-12-08, circuit will be hit ONLY when nifty is down 390 points PERIOD)

wow I have never in my trading career seen level touching S3 Pivots. aaj woh bhi dekh liya. hey bhagwan ab aur kya kya aur dekh na baaki hai....now wanting to see S4 being breached TODAY!!!

sunil,Da can u tell me that is there any chance of short covering before expiry eyeing 2800 call around 45....
