Is these Future values keep on changing 24X7 or is there any fix time frame like trading hours ?

Dear traderji members well i m vey much new to the FnO trading n have incurred heavy losses in due to negligence ..
i wish to know frmo the experts can some write a call or say sell a call/sell a put...n can cover it next day or some day afterward before expiry ..
or once calls or puts are written one has to hold that position till the expiry plz kindly let me know ......

US Index futures are traded approximately 24*7. Except that the exchange is closed daily maintenance from 16:15-16:30, 17:30-18:00, and 23:45-00:15 Eastern Time.

But trading volume is pathetic beyond US trading hours.. i.e hardly 5% to 10% of daily volume gets traded in 15 hrs of the day, compared to 90 to 95% of volume in 8hrs of the time when US mkt is open

So professionals generally discount non-us trading.

Depends on Scalper , like not every trader is successful same not every not every scalper is not helping broker .

PS. i know many people who are earning well ahead of ewt analysts and flow traders by just scalping 4-5 trades
