Re: Nifty Intraday Pivot Points for 15th September 2009

Hey,

Nope ..i was sitting on the sidelines..very tempted to write the 47/4800 PE..but refrained... have learnt to control my 'gut' feel as far as the mkt goes :) plus your advisories are far better than them :)

Mr E spoke about the climb to Everest , base camps and acclimatisation... in the meanwhile 4800 holds good .. so am not worried...

how was your day?

regards

Amit

Amit,

Replying to your query on the other thread ...

Silence from me just like the silent markets these days. Also was silently admiring GF take out the 8000 levels ...

Good that you are learning control :)

For people holding calls, the next 2-3 days might give you good trading opportunities - to sell higher and buy back lower ...

Just my few cents. What do you think, Mr. S?

Regards,
Enygma.

Enygma,

The one that has made me the max is BankNifty... till i had a bad day and you guys suggested i stay out being a novice... so maybe some where i can empathise with you on it being at 8K levels :)

was expecting BNF to move today too ... but didnt bite the forbidden apple !!.. discipline should be applied to all spheres is what i have learnt here ...

am still waiting to get out of base camp ... and move up... :) ..hope the weather clears up so that we can make a move and still not suffer from hypoxia .

Inshallah on the call bit :)

regards and enjoy the pleasant weather in your city

Relook at your capital situation now. If you are getting overloaded on NF and MNF and the Nifty options - In that case, you might want to trim down a bit on Nifty side and see whether you have enough capital to hold BNF overnight alongwith NF.

Even then, wait for a fresh trigger from Savant for a trade - either short or long. There will always be opportunities in this market - we just have to ensure that our capital lasts till then :)

If you are on YM, give me your messenger ID.

Hey Mr E,

It's ... hills_5000 @ yahoo .co . in

Honestly .. i dont know how the being overloaded thing works... Mr S , like you , did ask me to trim down ... but i have no idea why he mentioned i was over leveraged ( Mr S .. no offense to you, Sir ) yes i do have the cap to hold BNF overnight .. and not panic about it .... (though think i sounded so )... but being a novice am not sure if that's good accrdng to the reco given by you guys in the past.....

So in the meanwhile i shall sit on the sidelines and watch ..while i hold on to my positions... am quite comfy doing that... And Mr S ...will wait for fresh inputs / triggers on a trade

Re: Nifty Intraday Pivot Points for 15th September 2009

Hi Amit,

Let Me Illustrate The Point Of Being Over Leveraged...

Let's Assume You Have 1.0L & 1 Lot Of NF Margin Is 25k
While 1.0L Is Sufficient Enough Capital To BUY 4 Lots Of NF...But It Is Not Advisable To BUY More Than 1 Lot For A Capital Of 1.0L...For Positional Entry, Perhaps Only Other Thing That Can Be Done In Conjunction With 1 Lot As Positional...Is Levarage The Balance For Intraday Entry.

In My Opinion....Most People Who Have Lost Money In Derivatives Is Because They Were Unable To Handle MTM...All Derivatives Position Can Be Exited In Profit Only If The Ledger Can Support The MTM.

If You Have Any More Doubts, Let Me Know...
