Nifty Intraday Pivot Points

Hi frnds, im just a new one to this forum. Can any of u let me know please, what is PIVOT, R1, R2, R3 etc. im just unable to get all this.. thanx in advance

Quite a few times in last week/month, new members have asked about this same question. If you take a little bit of pain of digging through last few pages in this thread, you will find some beautiful descriptions regarding your questions. Every other day or so, some old members try to explain about pivots trading and if you are a regular reader/observer here, you will find what you are seeking. About taking fresh position, you can clearly see Buy/Hold strings attached with those numbers and thats for positional trades. Alternatively You can go for intraday as well as per your convenience.

trust me ,I made every attempts to understand.....anyways pls tell me the list that is attached is for weekly pivots/ daily pivots...and the trades as per the list are for intraday or swing....
