Again same question Raj. Mow Max Pain has moved up , so as the MAx OI.This signify that it will touch either 11000 or 10100. Since as of now it is towards 11000, chances of it touching 11000 are more ?
In this case is it advisable to have a credit spread of 10000 pe & 11100 ce ? Or shall we wait till it touches 11000 or 10100.

arcus,

Could you please tell how do we use this tool to perform the following calculation?

  1. How to predict the Call/Put price, if there is a 5% increase in SPOT. Say, Infy 3200 Call is @ 140 and VOLT is @ 60. I want to predict the price of this option if there is a 5% movement. how do we do this?
If you are using my OAT tool, you can use the "TradeAnalyser" sheet to see the Result. In the sheet you can change the Volatility and see how your strategy behaves.

Otherwise if you are using a Android Phone, and just want to know the Theoretical price, you can also use a simple "Android" application called OptionCalc.

NIFTY as per OAT is Bearish.

As per Price movement it is in FLAG. But the FLAG Range is huge and could be good for Range Traders. The Range is 6000 to 6105. So Buy above 6105 and Sell below 6000. Probably this Range should condense in some time and create an opportunity for FLOW traders. But going by the MAX OI @ 6100, it would be a Sell around 6100-6150 for Target of 5900 or Lower - Positional. For Intraday the Direction is not clear
NIFTY touched 6098 SPOT once again and now at 6065. The Next support would be 6050. If 6050 breaks can goto 5880, the Previous Decision point. If it does not break then NIFTY can goto the 6150. So let us see... But right now 5min chart it is a SELL and in the 15min Chart it is still a BUY.

Today the NIFTY AVG IVs dropped to around 22%, especially the IVs of PUTs, which was trading at around 30%. So it is a Good day to BUY Options.

Today the NIFTY AVG IVs dropped to around 22% both for CE and PE, especially the IVs of PUTs, which was trading at around 30+%. So it is a Good day to BUY Options, especially Puts. Hope you had some Puts when the market was at 6100 Levels

May be the Sheet is not calculating automatically. Goto the Formuals Tab and click on the Calculate Options -> Automatic. Or click on "Calculate Sheet"
