Raj , do you think the IVs for TCS options will move up significantly because of upcoming Q2 results ? Do you have any historical data before such an event ?
Historically TCS was always for Credit Spreads because it was always trading in a tight range (SELLING Options).

Now the AVG IV is little bit higher than the HIST VOLT.
Anyway I am not sure when is the result and so we should have more time to play with TCS. Do not touch TCS now.

If you still very eager, since the IV is more than the HIST VOLT, SELL 2000-2200 Pair for 72.

Raj,

How about if we combine VOLT and RSI indicator and then take a position. So for e.g,If IV is down and RSI is in oversold territory then make a buy options and if IV is Up to a large extent and RSI is in overbought territory then make a sell call. What do you think?
I have tried the Indicators like ADX, RSI, CCI etc... Not very predictable from my point of view. If it is for Trading options. you can anyway use the PCR (Put Call Ratio) which is similar to RSI.

My Open Positions.

Closed all my open positions. The 5700-6200 Debit Spread did not give the expected result because of the Fall in VOLT. So closed the 6200 CE alone around 90 and carrying the 5700PE.

Plus bought 5900 PE @ 55 when the market was around 6090. Will Carry till 5900 and Decide. If market moves UP more then will average the positions

Sold YESBANK Futures @ 350. MAX OI at 300-350. MAX Pain @ 320 - which would be my Target. Stoploss is 2%.

Not planning to do any Intraday Trades. Will Try the Positional Trades for this month.

Sold NIFTY Futures @ 6120 Target 5900. Stoploss 2%

You said sell NF when nifty touches 6060 . Am I right ?
I sold in the morning. This morning 6120 around 12 when the market was around 6100. This is for positional and not for Intraday. As per the FLOW method yes the SELL would be triggered below 6070. Now also it is trading at 6120, So if you want to do positional Trading and want to take a risk you can sell at 6120
