BANKNIFTY Was a little bit tricky in the morning but then the Trend was Set for an UP Move. But the Target was initially pointing to 15850. At 15700 the COI changed to 15000-16200 suggesting a Target of 15600 but since the COI values were indicating a BUY, 15600 should have been taken as Support. After that the Target came back t0 15850 with COI changing to 15500-16200 once again. Later the COI changed to 15500-16400, suggesting a target of 15950. But BANKNIFTY was completely trending from morning from 15600 to 15950.

So today if you notice, the LTF Full Range was traded. And the Minor Resistance @ 15750-15800 also Resisted and confused the traders...

So I will Pause here for some time. I think I have explained the new strategy of trading using COI and OI. I will not be posting in such a detail going forward.

So those who were asking for a strategy with no charts, I think you can use the strategy. All the best for those who wants to use this.

Due to SEBI regulations i think he is not posting his opinion

In simple words new SEBI rule bans unregistered professional tipsters and other similar people. SEBI has already banned some high profile unregistered tips providers.

For TJ it means tipsters can't post tips and lure people to their paid services.

Those posters who explain their method freely in posts here and are not luring people to paid services can continue as before.

Those who are not tipsters/fraudsters need not worry.

Specifically for you: You are openly explaining you method, freely sharing your tools, not luring anyone to paid sites. So unless mods specifically say something please continue as usual.

Below is mods response to some poster who was asking people to contact by email for further "explanation":
Thanks Raghuveer for that exhaustive post. It was a good move by SEBI. I was never encouraging Tipsters nor recommending any Tipsters.

But SEBI is late. Better late than never :)

I have not been posting for a while since I have already posted the reason on 17-OCT-14. There is nothing new. I have already explained the strategy of using OI and COI for Intraday trading. There is nothing new and so I don't post anything. IF I find something new or interesting then I will post. Otherwise may be this thread will not see too many of my posts.

May be I will consolidate the important learning from this Option thread and publish a summary document some time in Future whenever I find some time.

Till then Enjoy trading and all the best. With the Fraudulent Tipsters out of the market, Retail traders should be at peace. May the Fraudulent Tipsters Rest In Peace. Long Live SEBI.

With the MAX OI and COI the Range Seems to be narrow 8400-8450.

As per COI, If 8400 Breaks down then it can goto 8300. If 8450 Breaks out then it can test 8500 and/or 8600.

In hourly Charts The signal is Bullish below 8440. Support @ 8440. Pivot @ 8530. Resistance @ 8630. All are SPOT Values.

In the Daily Charts the Major Support is at 8290 Futures. Minor Support is at 8450 Futures.

Generally, when the high to open ratio is above 0.3%, the market closes positive and vice versa. Say the market has made some peak, if the peak value to opening price is more than 0.3%, closing price is likely to be higher than open price
this is your observation about ... Nifty spot ? Futures ?? Banknifty ?? Generally about any scrip ??

It is easy to give a prediction at the end of the day. Sorry, I did not see your reply earlier. Open was 8320 and after 9.40, the market crossed 0.3% mark (8345). Hence I expect the market to close above 8320. I will try to extrapolate this further in coming days
