Hi Everyone!

I've reached till page 200 of this thread! Interesting and learning from it.
Has anybody tried naked option trading using the rules Raj mentioned? How are the results?

I have observed that when the condition "volume > Change in OI" is met its too late and the Nifty has already moved a lot.
Anybody else feels the same?

I have tried naked option trading when the difference between " MAX (CHG in OI) @ PE" and " MAX (CHG in OI) @ CE" widens. I found results to be satisfactory.

Any comments on it?

I've not tried or checked Naked Option trading. So Raj or other member who have tested can give their view for this.

So how do you trade? You only short the options with MAX_OI? 8000PE and 8400 CE? And hold it till the MAX_OI changes?

Short the Pair which has MAX_OI(or MAX_CHG_OI) and combine price is near 120.

Assume that jan series has max OI in 7900PE and 8400CE and combined value for this is 119...
1. is to good to short 1 lot in 8400CE and 7900PE?
2.. and how much money is required to short this combination.
3. And when it clear the position?

From the above Max ch OI is 8300PE IS 108 and 8600 CE 17

(1)For Shorting the pair minimum combine value required at least 120.One of the strike price( CE or PE) should be at least price 90.
Somewhere Raj have explained in detail rules regarding this but i don't know in which page.

(2)I think for short option it required Nifty' margin. Suppose for each 1 lot of call if you want to short then U will have to required 1 lot Nifty' margin. Same as needed for put.
For deatail about this pls refer your local broker or visit the thread Brokers & Trading Platforms.

(3) well I can't say sure but clear the position when you get 30 points.
