Dear Techdump,
Today at around 10.25am my internet connection had gone and coming back around 11.30am. When I tried to back-fill, it doesn't happened. Then I tried many in market hour and also after market hour. But in vain. Before that many times I back-filled without any problem. Please see this matter.

Sir, Today I faced following problem.

1. Real time data was updating in watch list from yahoo, but It was lagging more than 5 minitues in Metastock. This happned today only I dont know the reason, other days it was working nice.

2. Today backfilling also gave problem.

I shall be thankfull if you could look into the matter.

Dear Logan Sir,
As i had already had a chat with u regarding Offline Chartsdata and Fetch the data from ODIN TWS 9.1.0.5 , u said that u will work on it let me know it had past 1month and Since no reply. Sir i would like to ask u wether its possible to run chartsdata without Internet ( then its good) Bcoz i dont use internet for Trading as i am using CTCL Connection (VSAT) . As I have Installed my ODINTWS 9.1.0.5 for Backup Thru Internet . While I Open Both at a time ODIN and ChartsData Are working But ChartsData Able to Detect Marketwatch but No Rate is Showing in column. Chartsdata is Only Able to get the rates from ODIN Diet Which we disscused in Chat Last Month u said u will work on it.So Waiting for u r Positive Reply.

Dear Sir,

For time interval setting you have asked for TA sw but time interval req is not for perticular sw. with a view to availability of system resources and system capacity it is use full to very refresh from 1 -20 sec. some poor capacity system req bigger refresh rate as to perform other task and other application to work - so user can optimize refresh as per system capacity. i hope you got the point.

Today also watch list was updating in realtime but metastock was lagging 4 to 5 minuits. So many time colsed Metastock but unsucessfull to get real time data in meta. please resolve problem if there.

I think there was some problem today because today when i opened the chart data today and when i selected the yahoo it did not display the protfolio grid and also the data was not being updated even if i loged in at yahoo. if some one else also faced this problem plz reply how to solve it. I uninstalled and installed Charts Data many time but it failed to update the metastock data

Dear manaranjan500,

ChartsData doesn't work based on time, it should work well as it was working before. Backfilling is done from YAH00, Nse and Bse websites, if any of these sites were down or not updated then you wont get backfill datas. Normally, this will happen once a month or twice due to their own reasons, i can't ask YAH00 to run without interruptions but this will rarely happen. You can come across this situation while logging to YAH00/Gmil saying that "you cant access your account temproraily, please try logging after sometime". Situation you faced today is same with this case.

Could you please ensure this as metastock will update once in every 5 sec. ChartsData will transfer whatever data it receives from YAH00 to metastock, it won't wait or lag as you said it worked well before.

2. Today backfilling also gave problem.
Please go thru my previous post. It seems like YAH00 server doesn't update nor available.

I shall be thankfull if you could look into the matter.

ChartsData won't work with Dealers ODIN, it will work only with traders ODIN and the same situation was faced by one of our member Jignesh who is using dealers ODIN. As i said already, it is possible to make offlice chartsdata version but give me some time to work on it as i am doing a lot of changes to original chartsdata version for efficiency.
