could you tell me how to register msflexgrid.ocx in the registry as it not getting installed correctly due this only Chart Data is not working.

Dear Sir,

Today also my MS data not updated even several tries. So I have downloaded Amibroker free version and it is working fine but problem is that when i colse the software data gets errased data are not saving in file. please help the solve the problem in Amiboker.

I am providing a link for your required msflxgrd.ocx file .first download it from http://www.afreeocx.com/ocx/download/2851/msflxgrd.ocx
and copy the said ocx file in
# Win XP - C:\Windows\System32
# 95/98/Me - C:\Windows\System
# Win NT / 2000 - C:\WINNT\System32
thereafter you have to register it.
To register,Go to Start > Run > regsvr32 msflxgrd.ocx then press ENTER
A confirmation message should appear.

The problem of getting live data in Excel remained as in the version of Chartsdata I downloaded, the Excel function was disabled. Kindly tell me the location of the version in which Excel function is enabled (if available). Thanks.

I am very new to investing, trading and TA. I happened to find chartsdata and used it for only 3 days. Then it stopped working. Now, when we select the portfolio, it doesnt show any stock and since it cant show stock data, neither is update happening. However, we can see that the program is still downloading data every 2 sec. Only that it doesnt show any tick values or updating the TA data files.
I reinstalled my Vista too and still the same problem exists.

Can anyone enlighten me how to solve this problem. Many thanks for your replies.

try by using windows xp,vista giving trouble
if u r not having another pc with xp,install vm ware in vista,then install xp in vm ware.
so that u can use xp in vista pc

I am also facing the same problem as Kesk but i OS i am using is Windows 2000. i freshly installed windows 2000 again on the same machine then also it is not working
