Hi,
I installed chartsData and when i try to launch it, i am getting this error message "No such Interface Supported". Can someone help me to resolve this? Thnx in advance.

Dear Klo,

The problem might be missing execution file named WebData.exe, it will appear in the system tray which will download/capture data and feed chartsdata. Ensure whethe you got the file running and check the profile with the name created at c:\chartsdata\data\<your profile name>.prof, open this file in notepad and see whether the scripts you created were in this file. If found and WebData.exe is running, data must come and if anything above said is missing then you wont get data.

Dear Ritesh,

You can find msflexgrid.ocx along with the installation. Just go to the installation directory in the DOS command prompt (goto start -> run -> type cmd and press enter), navigate to the directory where you installed chartsdata, and type "regsvr32 msflexgrid.ocx". You will get a message saying that the ocx has been successfully registered.

could you tell me how to register msflexgrid.ocx in the registry as it not getting installed correctly due this only Chart Data is not working.

Dear Maruti mane,

Amibroker database will be saved on random time basis for evaluation version, it is better to save manually if your odin or internet connection or system hangs several times.

Today also my MS data not updated even several tries. So I have downloaded Amibroker free version and it is working fine but problem is that when i colse the software data gets errased data are not saving in file. please help the solve the problem in Amiboker.

The problem of getting live data in Excel remained as in the version of Chartsdata I downloaded, the Excel function was disabled. Kindly tell me the location of the version in which Excel function is enabled (if available). Thanks.

1. Please ensure that your portfolio had selected scripts. You can see your portfolio created at c:\chartsdata\data\<your portfolio name>.prof, open it in the notepad and see the selected scripts. If nothing found then nothing will be updated.
2. Check anyother program is accessing downloading datas
3. Please ensure whether you have selected necessary options to upload

I am very new to investing, trading and TA. I happened to find chartsdata and used it for only 3 days. Then it stopped working. Now, when we select the portfolio, it doesnt show any stock and since it cant show stock data, neither is update happening. However, we can see that the program is still downloading data every 2 sec. Only that it doesnt show any tick values or updating the TA data files.
I reinstalled my Vista too and still the same problem exists.

Can anyone enlighten me how to solve this problem. Many thanks for your replies.

Yes, it is possible but i haven't included that option in the evaluation version.
