I don't know whats the problem with charts data it is not updataing the data from yahoo.com even if i am logged in. Even it is not showing 15min old data

Dear Bhuvan,

I haven't encountered such error before and i guess you might be using vista - as said before, chartsdata was not tested in vista. Please mail me your system details with the errors you are facing such that i can investigate and let you know the solution.

I installed chartsData and when i try to launch it, i am getting this error message "No such Interface Supported". Can someone help me to resolve this? Thnx in advance.

What Error for Mr KLo is Getting same problem is also to me i have uninstalled and re-installed the software Then also same problem . No Data is available in Yahoo Screen in ChartsData Please Help.

Dear Klo,

The problem might be missing execution file named WebData.exe, it will appear in the system tray which will download/capture data and feed chartsdata. Ensure whethe you got the file running and check the profile with the name created at c:\chartsdata\data\<your profile name>.prof, open this file in notepad and see whether the scripts you created were in this file. If found and WebData.exe is running, data must come and if anything above said is missing then you wont get data.

pls see any file is missing

1.webdata.exe is running in system tray.Pls see the screenshot

2.C://chartsdata/data folder there is a profile named nse.Pls see the screenshot.

3.pls see the file details nse.prof in note pad

But in spite of all this data is not extracting.Pls solve the problem.

hello sir

i am facing problem with not able to login to yahoo, as i have read the entire thread i have tried logging in may times but everytime it give error stating that "invalid id or password pls try again" i am logged in to yahoo mail also with option of keep logged in, i have tried out almost everything but not able to login. so i am not able to use your software at all

i tried to email you but the email bounced back.

i am awaiting some solution to this

I am using chartdata for connecting odin to amibroker 5.2v
automatic analysis back testing is not working.where as i use datafetcher ,it is working.
I found that by using chartdata date is not displaying between two days.i mean after 23.55hrs of this day ,next day if i open date is not comming ,directly 10hrs displaying.
NOTE--same amibroker i used both datafetcher and chartdata.

Hi...congratulations on this great software...keep up the good work!

I had been using chartsdata for a few months before i had to format my hard drive...but now after installation,all the options are deactivated...im using amibroker 5.2..i m able to successfully sign into yahoo and select my profile...but the symbols which are selected in the profile are not being displayed under the DATA menu like they used to and i cant select any of the options in charts-ta or backfill..although the data is being constantly updated in Y!chart and all the other features are working.
Im using Xp sp3.Attaching a screenshot as well.

Kindly help.Thanks in advance.

Please find attached the screenshot taken now and it is showing YAH00 data. If chartsdata works fine before then it should work now, unless if yah00 stops updating their finance datas. Try to think of any changes you made to your system or to chartsdata files.
