first of thanks for the great softwere. let me know the softwere works with futures on yahoo data?there is no option in this version of chart data to extract data to any other drive in which your softwee is loaded other than c drive as unfortunatelyi am using d drive to store data . pl give option . try for advance Get real time version ALSO i can send a copy to u if u can do it as no one as on today has confighred advance get real time

I live in USA and I want to get dJ and nasdaq symbols for metastock. How do I do that. I am new here.

I have uninstalled old version and installed new version but new version is not working there is error:

Run time error
C:\programmefiles\Chartdata V1.01\Chartdata.exe
R6025
Pure virtual function Chartdata.exe

Please lookinto the matter.

Tested the tool, the odin to amibroker data transfer works quite well.

Will try to test other features tomorrow. It says evaluation version, so what is the validity or evaluation period?

Bug Report:

The process remains active (is resident) even after the ChartsData application is shut down.

Plz look into it as it keeps the clipboard locked even after I have closed down your application.

Dear MarutiMane,

I am not sure what caused this error cause after rigorous testing i didn't come across this error. Error seems to be with DLL, try to restart the system and try it again. Also before running chartsdata make sure chartsdata.exe or webdata.exe is not running. If you face this problem again mail me your date and time to come online and i will resolve it by connecting thru teamviewer.

Thanks. Yes, i left drive configuration to default as a lot of options needs to be changed if drive customization was done but will do it in forthcoming versions. Sure, mail me a copy and i will try my best to do it for advanced get too.

Dear Rajeev,

Yes, you can get all stock symbols if YAH00 has data for it. Just go to the installation directory, open WorldSymbols.txt file and include whatever YAH00 symbols you want to watch, create a ChartsData profile with the symbols added and find updating charts realtime.

No need to configure metastock. Just open it before starting chartsdata, rest will be taken care.
