Dear Flowtrader,

Could you please let me know the bug in detail as the clipboard will be locked while chartsdata is running and will be released once you close chartsdata. If you try to cut/copy/paste while running chartsdata then it might lead to error/update interruption as i am using clipboard for realtime updates and i had informed this already.

Bug Report:

The process remains active (is resident) even after the ChartsData application is shut down.

Plz look into it as it keeps the clipboard locked even after I have closed down your application.

Thanks for the quick response.

After the markets even after closing the ChartData Application, the process stays live in the memory.

I had to close the process using task manager.

I hope u got the solution.I spent whole day on web search, found hundreds of questions of same run time error, no one was able to give the solution to anyone(at least I did not find any);

What I did to get rid of it. I arranged another cd of windows xp to reinstall.Perhaps (I m not sure) some files were missing at my earlier installed windows.Even after re installation, I got message of some more missing files on start of ChartsData.Downloaded missing dll etc. registered them, Now ok.

Thanks for reply. I added few sym. like skf aapl clf etc. but it is not showing any price and showing N/A.

And it only download data of indicies upto 11.30 am eastern time.

Metastock is shwoing previous close as zero for all the data. Plz tell how to resolve this issue

Dear sir
sorry i checked with the version of advance get i have . It is for trade station and e signal . Both are of old version and system hangs . It is of no use as i also dont know what is the latest version . If at all i come accross new version i will reply back.by the way i have eod version of advance get. I think it is also of no use for u as u r an intarday player. Good luck.

I am also not able to solve the runtime error problem. last two days I am only trying to get the software run but could not do any thing. Only sitting infront of the screen and trying.

I have asked techdump to solve the problem.

Graat, finally got it by yourself. I guessed that there might be missing some dll or corrupted dll/ocx files lead to this error message as the error says visual c++ problem but i don't program in vc++, but most of the dll's are programmed in c and c++.
