you are wrong to say that Geojit is the best. They have betrayed many clients which you may be now aware. They do hooks and crooks to show bumber profit. Do you want proof ? I can give plenty. So you please do not recommend.

Can someone tell me if Geojit allows after market orders like ICICI? Also, what are the fixed yearly charges, like DP charges and all?

Who ever started the thread 'only geogit is the best' seems to have not had any experience with any other brokers. Wonderful to mislead the community. No doubt, each broker has his own positive or negative advantages or disadvantages. But definetely, geogit is not the best. So the title is misnomer.

It looks like a lot of folks here are trying hard to push Geojit.

I wonder why they aren't covered by the comparison site tracenotes.com

Strangely, some of their website features don't work either.

For example the branch locator on the Geojit site doesnot work. That is just the begining of bad customer service.

Can someone tell me if Geojit allows after market orders like ICICI? Also, what are the fixed yearly charges, like DP charges and all?

Today I called up their toll free number. The lady who picked up the phone told me that account opening charge is Rs 425 and there is an yearly charge of Rs 300 for maintenance. Ofcourse the brokerage is 0.3 % for delivery and 0.03% for margin trading. Strangely she had no idea, what after market orders(AMO) are. I am not going to open an account if they don't have this feature.

different brokers have different + or _ features.
though Geojit may not be the best but they are one of the top 10 best
