Hello everyone....

i want to open a demat and trading account ...and i have enquired with angel broking and indiabulls .

well indiabulls charges are on lower side....

1) .02% intra day and .2 for delivery

but he is chraging me 990 rs for the account opening and 750 rs for the software .the good thing is there is not AMC .

and they are charging Rs 10/- as the transection charge.... which they say....will be charged when you sell the delivery shares...regardless the quantity of shares.

so guys ...could you please tell me wht is transection charge.... and is it the case that all broking firms apply these charges.

please help me with the option i can have..... i have not yet finalied anyone....i am from pune....sometime it happens that ..location wise the reputation of broker varies....

Waiting for you guys to advice me...thanks!!!1

Hi Rohit, the rates u quoted for indiabulls are the best i heard till now. Transaction charge is when you sell shares in your demat account.Indiabulls has to maintain any demat account in either NSDl or CDSL . So in order to sell any share in your demat account Indiabulls has to pay NSDL or CDSL some transaction charges arounf 6-7 Rs.
Also Indiabulls has the lowest transaction charge among all brokers.Religare example goes upto 25 Rs.
So not to worry it is okay.
Also Indiabulls I heard ,in this forum, introduced some security scheme like Reliance, so its secure.

Basically you can place orders with indiabulls through 3 ways..

1. Through PIB software:

2. Through the indiabulls website:

3. Through the Indiabulls Terminal:

hi guys, i got to know the above info from these forums. My question is that what is this PIB software abt? How deals r done through this software?

I am new to this thing, so an detailed explanation would be appreciated.

Also if i am using a PIB software do i have to contact any of the broker to buy/sell shares?

And if i have buy/sell through PIB software, will it be instant?

Hi Anuj
Basically the exe software in this case PIB is the same as a terminal.
The PIB is based on the NEAT terminal brokers used to connect to the NSE .Hence it is very fast and good for traders.
Since the PIB is a terminal u do not have to go through brokers since when you sign the POA (Power of Attorney) you r able to trade online .
Yes and buying ans selling r fast.:thumb:

HI all please reply this...

Is it necessary to have a minimum balance in margin account to start trading?
Does Indiabulls ask for a minimum deposit for opening a margin account? If so, how much?

Nope, no minimum balance , though after depositing your amount and opening acc , i think you always have to leave 600-700 something to keep the acc open.

@vmonu
Along with IB , you checkd any other brokers?
I checked with sharekhan and angel broking, sharekhan was offering 0.3% and 0.03% but my friend advised against it as he had faced some disconnection problems with their trading terminal.
Angel broking were telling me the same brokerage which Indiabulls told me, so finally i registered with IB for their PIB.;)
