Sold 2900 Straddle on 10/2

Call@ 108 and put @ 85 .Total premium received : 193

Premium as of now : 2900 c : 40 , 2900 P: 108 : Total :148

Unrealized profit : 45 points.

I will review the situation tomorrow whether to hold or Square . ( Personally, I am not in support /Favour of 50% profit/ loss strategy . Thats too Huge margin )

naresh, this thread has a purpose, pl read the initial post clearly. you need to sell call/put of same s/r 5 days before prev month. for example, we will start trades for march series around feb 20

Strategy 1:

Sold Straddle for 327 premium. Target achived !!! Profit 179 points. --CLOSED--

Strategy 2:

Bought 2700 stradle for 238 rs. Right now total premium = 147 Loss = 90. our 50% sl is 119, let us see

our next sell straddle will start tomorrow since monday is holiday, we will have 5 trading days by next friday. this is for March series. we may again sell for 2700 strike price

i took yesteray at close. its around 2750. i prefered lower range as the bias is negative for the market. 2600 is more possible than 3000.

but it doesnt matter. you can try with 2800 as well

Hi,

For the test paper trading, at the time of posting

2700 CE Mar = 140
2700 PE Mar = 137

sold for 140+137 = 277

To protect from any potential crash with in Feb expi ( upto 26 Feb) bought 2500 PE Feb @ 4.5

So Net Premium colleted 277-4.5 = 272 approx.

Lets see what unfolds.

(sorry bandlab2 , i posted without ur permission, but i was ecxcited , especially for protection testing with 2500 PE Feb, which i think will not hurt much, given the safety for 4-5 days)
