No there not a single crossover benefits.
CFA has its own curriculum ..Lot about capital market and fund management etc etc
on the other hand CAT has 3 different section 1. English 2. Maths 3. Logical reasoning
So you have to study all the together different subjects for both the exams
CAT is simple exam with huge competition ..on the other hand CFA has huge syllabus with relatively tough exam
So my suggestion would be for you...start studying for CAT now...and after May next year start studying CFA books....it will be very tough to crack both exam at the same time..but lots people do( but they are very good in studying..I don't know about you)...as you know a lot about capital markets you will find CFA Level 1 is very interesting and easy..it will be start tougher from level 2 onwards.
Will I be able to secure job without MBA if I do just CFA?
I dont have a social life so I can study day-night, I am capable of that If subjects are interesting. I am weak in higher maths. (Not the type I use everyday in finance, I can do those) I am weak in memorization but I am great am analyticals and logical thinking. What do you suggest I focus on for both exams?
If I buy books for CAT this year will they be applicable in the next CAT exam?
As CFA books expire after the publishing year exam is over as they change syllabus every year.
