from 9.30 to 10.30 - 20 lots of 6100 pe - profit 4k
from 11.00 to 12.00 bought (40lots + 40 lots) of 6200ce and exited around 1.30 ..for a profit of 82k.

Do accept your genuine concern. Sorry for some long reply, But let me tell something.
1) I do not follow any technical system and that’s why I used to term my trading as gambling.
2) When it is true that 95% trader fails ultimately, I do opt gambling in Options. Blindly buying and selling options. (As always gambling has 50% chance to win)
3) So the only system which I am following is tight money control.
For example if I gain a profit of 1k means it shall be understood that the money exposed to get that is not more than 10 to 15k which is nothing but of 2.5% of total money in cash to trade. In fact it is only 1.25% of total money I can access from bank through this trading account.
4) This thread is to keep track of the gambling performance which I started on 9th Oct. In case if I failed to recover all losses and the loss start increasing beyond 1600k, I do need to stop this gambling and to find other way ( technical trading ) to recover the losses or to forget all the losses and go for investing ultimately.
5) If you feel some sort of inconvenience by this thread by any means please be frank to advise so that I will stop this thread or you can advice for some tweaking if possible. If no inconvenience means you can be kind enough to ignore this thread and have a glance in a month if interested. (Your reply required in this regard)
6) Please refer post #80, Page # 8 of this thread for further clarity.
7) One interesting point is for oct 20860rs and for Nov 41420rs (received yesterday as option incentives from broker) are not accounted here and I just wondering why I shall not continue to increase this incentive by increasing the volume.
8) one more interesting point is I am doing all these gambling in our great ICICI who use to loot with more brokerage but then I don’t have other alternative since I need to submit some document to sharekhan to allow me to access F&O section, further this Odin /angel web is also extreme slow here . I hope I can correct these when I am in India next time.

REFER to point no 7 Dec incentive is 10451rs received today. so total on this regard
20860+41420+10451=72731 rs. These amount not accounted in my magic numbers...

stock72 , I think as SG suggested you should start futures instead of options.

You can buy option for the future lot as an insurance. You can get more details from Enygma. your chances to recover will increase

why dont you have some of your relative brother / sister open account in India in something other than icicidirect and then you can trade in that account instead of paying high broekrage to icicidirect

Try some other brokers.......and bargain for the lowest brokerage

04-01-2010-Gambling PROFIT 76K ( 10K for my icici lover and 76k for me ) . so number now -1525+76K=-1449k

Note : this morning build up 6200 ce position as much as 101 lots and as market went deep red offloaded most for loss and holding still 20 lots to be closed by tommorow and will account .
