Good to see your interest in P&F, Linkon. After a long time (or maybe first time), I am not threatened by your charts. What a change from those colourful charts to simple chart with just few columns.

Hope I will be able to learn/share something here. Would appreciate if you can put link to posts in Dan's thread where we recently had good discussion on this topic. I have posted my experience whenever P&F thread has come up in TJ but that all is scattered. Maybe this thread will be one central repository.

All the best.
Happy Trading

The simplicity of pnf makes people scared basically. Dan's thread is running parallel on pnf almost, which is a good thing actually as i know virtually nothing on pnf. hope to learn a lot from him and his views. All i do is look for structure on pnf. Rest i leave to my colorful charts to decipher.

The trend line on pnf still doesnt make sense to me. Certain patterns on pnf goes over my head still. Its basically lack of exposure to pnf chart. Just 1 week old and looking only at basics here.

My initial expectation from pnf was just to know the strength of a reference level and somehow its ability to decipher trend and that too with just 6 point sl is simply what the doctor ordered. Fits my trading style like a missing jigsaw puzzle.

I hope to see your views here as this is pure price action and i know you love PA.

Hi Dan,
Yes, i am a pnf chartist...
What can i do for you?
regards,
praveen
Hi Praveen

Good to know that we have a PnF chartist on board. I was just wondering, as this thread has become very silent after Linkon stopped to move on with it. As I use Metastock, PnF is a very good tool in it even I no more use it very often. If you want and specially time permits you may reactivate this thread with some posts from your side about your charting. Just an idea and absolute no must, as posting can be time consuming.

Any way: Thanks for your above very friendly post and have a nice Sunday / Dan :)

Hi Dan,
I will surely oblige your request whenever time permits, as there is no active thread on Pnf in the whole forum...
Thank you

Well, I guess PnF traders will appreciate it.

Have a nice start into the new week / Dan :)

Hi,
I am posting NF OCT series pnf chart for today...data is upto 10:50AM ...further i will post whenever i find during the day...its difficult but i will try my level best..See the beautiful bearish resistance lines...chart is 3X3 1Minute high-low chart...
Note : Many are of the opinion that pnf is for positional trading and not for intra day trading....but thats not right....it can be used to perfection for intra day also ...albeit with small box size as linkon sir said in this thread earlie
Happy trading:clap:
