It is last traded price which triggers the order.

but, it some times so happens that trigger price will be triggered and the price jumps our stoploss price. so, care should be taken to maintain sufficient distance from trigger price and stoploss price.

So fine then ...

1. In selling stoploss order,, it is BID Price which triggers the stoploss order &
2. In buying stoploss order,, it is the OFFER Price which triggers the stoploss order

... Am I clear & correct now???

No Prasadam! ... You have syat answered point no. 5 in that post ... I am talking about point no. 6...

1. Imagine a Non-liquid stock ...

2. BEST Seller has placed his sell order with offer price say 110Rs. Rs.

3. BEST Buyer has placed his buy order with BID price say 90 RS.

4. Both are stubborn on their decisions and NO TRADE IS HAPPENING

5.Now I have that stock with me

6. I placed a stoploss sell order for that stock say with 91 TRIGGER and 85 Limit price ...

7. Now BID price has jumped in between 91 and 85 ,...

then tell me ,,,

... In above Case, will my stoploss will get "triggered" and my stocks will be sold to that bidder at 90RS.???
there is a catch here.
your sl will not be triggered if the last traded price is above your sl price .
more confusion?

made a mistake in answering trigger query. I was in the mood of buy/sell questions flow.

thank you rajesh.

will edit the post.

...

3a. ,,, and If I placed a SELL order at 95 Rs. ... then at what price I will get the security sold at my price or at bid price?

3b. ,,, and If I placed a BUY order at 110 Rs. ... then at what price I will get the security bought at my price or at offer price?
