Hi Anant,

Thnaks for the Chart. The scenario has totally changed from a buy as per the chart posted by SG and it has become a sell as per the chart posted by you.

I am long in it - bought @ 16.50. What do you suggest ? Shall I exit looking at the chart posted by you ? Please advise.

Thanks,

Rgds,

Hi Sanju,

GVKPIL gave a buy trigger but that trigger was not confirmed later. As per the Quadra System, after a Buy or Sell trigger should be confirmed by next candle. In case of a Buy trigger the next candle should take out the high of the trigger candle and in case of Sell trigger the next candle should break the low of the trigger candle. GVKPIL never broke the high of trigger candle and in fact gave a Sell trigger. Please keep this first basic rule before taking any position.

Anantbhai, I think we need to define a "buy signal" and a "buy trigger" separately, and the filter too.

Dear timepass...
is my buy and SL correct?
Hi Gautam,

It appears from your chart that your welders Mas are not correct. The first MA should be Wilder's(C,5), the second should be Wilder's(C,8) and the third should be Wilder's(C,13). The reference EMA is EMA(C,50). In your chart you appear to have used double Wilder's like Wilder's(Wilder's(C,5)). Correct the averages and see the chart again.

As I am away in another city I am not able to post the correct chart. I am sending this post through my mobile. SG may be able to advise you with the correct chat.

Yes Gautama, it is correct. You may shift the initial stoploss too low off the candle which is two candles before the one you have marked.
