The system is still under development. There are a few things which are to be straightened out. For example, SG has said that he will define and illustrate the EMA50 direction using the clock positions. SG is doing it and when it is ready, it will be incorporated in the AFL and posted here. Meanwhile the charts/triggers as observed with the present AFL are being posted. Any deviations, errors, deficiencies observed may be posted here by all those who are following this thread. Any suggestions, feed back are also welcome to make the system more robust. Therefore, participation and contribution from all the interested members will be most welcome.

Dear Anant sir its great you and SG sir shared the technique
as you have mentioned for inputs here are some which we need while trading this set up

1- Everything should be defined , entery ,Add ,Exits ,Stoploss and trailing stop loss
there should not be anything which depend on personal opinion like the word " I Think...this is should have done etc "

2-After all defined then model trades should be there say for nifty for some time

3- At least two time frames test should be done say for nifty Daily and 60 min ....

4-And if initial level stop can be made less then it will good

5-Once a trend starts we should define some trend continuing pattern for ADD

6- we can use multitime frame analysis like if daily in trend with this set up then how 60 min performs with same set up

As you know already these things still posting coz this helps us to be confident in trading the set up

Thanks

Edit : Anant Sir as a scintist you must have done all the rigid rules , and all type of tests etc ,as we know how a mind of scientist function other wise how could have Agni-5 has 5000 km range or how could be Resat-2 succesfully placed in the right orbit :D

well a simple and effective strategy i must say as per the back-tested results, with very less loosing trades. thanks to SG Sir and all others who have helped in its development process.:clapping:

i think the placement of initial stoploss should be reconsidered, as it becomes difficult for a trader like me with less capital to trade with big stoploss. and sometimes badluck is so bad that whatever u try nothing works in ur favour. specially for me.

looking ahead for updates sir

Hi SG,

In BANKNIFTY Futures chart posted above by you, though there was a BUY trigger on 18-4-2012, it was never confirmed by the later candles (None of the later candles have taken out the trigger candle high. The High of trigger candle on 18th April happens to be highest high in last two weeks). Therefore, there was no trade and the Initial SL getting triggered on 27-4-2012 does not arise. Thus Quadra has protected us from taking a wrong trade.

Hi Satyen,

Thanks for your inputs. For the various points you have brought out my replies are inline, in blue color.:

Dear Anant sir its great you and SG sir shared the technique
as you have mentioned for inputs here are some which we need while trading this set up

1- Everything should be defined , entery ,Add ,Exits ,Stoploss and trailing stop loss

Most of these have been defined. Adds need to be properly defined. SG is working on it. The AFL already has the other factors you mentioned. On the chart itself, whenever a trigger is generated, it gives Entry price, initial stoploss and as days progress the stoploss is adjusted appropriately to trail the price. In one of the charts I posted earlier you can see the Trailing stoploss line.

2-After all defined then model trades should be there say for nifty for some time

SG is already posting daily charts with proper markings. More trades will be posted in due course of time.

3- At least two time frames test should be done say for nifty Daily and 60 min ....

Basically, this system is for those who can not devote much time in front of the terminal. That means for those who can glance at the charts for a few minutes (even after market hours) and take decisions and place orders and monitor their earlier positions. Therefore, it is mainly an EOD based technique. However even intra-day trades have been posted earlier on different time frames.

4-And if initial level stop can be made less then it will good

This would be considered after some more tests.

5-Once a trend starts we should define some trend continuing pattern for ADD

Work is in progress in this direction.

6- we can use multitime frame analysis like if daily in trend with this set up then how 60 min performs with same set up

Already mentioned about this under point No. 3 above.
