Hello All,

RKG has upgraded its ODIN to ver 9 .... i.e. 7.9 (this is what I got a messege)
It has to be downloaded today and then tested 2mw! Trading will start 4m Monday using this s/w... without this upgradation... trading will not be possible through ODIN... .4m Monday

You are telling that RKG is using Odin Diet 7.9 But their website is showing that they are using version 7.10 .The link is as follows:

Please check it.Their version is latest as used by religare i.e., 7.10x

This is what I got it from RKG

All Clients/Branches Please, be informed that ODIN Trading Software Ver is being changed from ODIN 7.10 to ODIN 7.9X wef 09-06-08. Please download new ver of Software today after 5 PM and login on saturday for test checking. Client/branches who fail to download software will not be able to trade on 09-06-08.

And I checked the version of my ODIN it is as you said 7.10... I think as others mention they are goin to upgrade it to ver 9... maybe the messege they have typed it wrong as 7.9x ... maybe it should be 9.x... whtever...

Surprisingly I haven't received the message yet. Anyway good, lets hope our software problems will come down now. Especially that market order problem and the disconnection problem.

It is not possible to upgrade from 7.10x to 7.9x because 7.9x is the previous version of 7.10x.It means downgrade.

He is talking about the latest release of odin diet platform which is 9x,not 7.9x or 7.10.....

Hello all,

RKG has released the ODIN 9.x... got it installed just now... tried to connect but now there server is off i guess(it is usual and not a cause of concern)... the server most likely will be on after 9.30 am...
I would not be able to log in then... as I would be going out for the day... when ever I log in... I would update here abt the ODIN... hows it and changes(if I can notice any)....

I have one query not regarding ODIN...
Has the Govt by any chance removed the STT on futures ? As yesterday's contract note has no debit for STT... I have done Intraday... both buy as well as sell(I mention this as STT is levied on the sell side)

ps:- Everyone please download the ver 9 ... as whoever an user of RKG, trading would not be possible through ODIN from monday if do not have ODIN 9.x

I installed and connected just now. No difference in look or feel. Lets hope performance is better.
By the way you must have got the revised contract note today with the STT added.

Software versioning doesn't happen like that. Even if it was 7.9, it would be higher than 7.1. If you want 9 and 10 then you write 7.09 and then 7.10.
