R K Global Issues!

Most of the problems in the RKG ODIN are due to bsnl broadband...in other networks odin works fine.... but they blame bsnl for odin problems....and unfortunately I use bsnl...

Everything is fine so far except for delayed quotes. :annoyed: A few times in the trading day the realltime quotes are disrupted and get delayed/freeze. Its been happening the past few days. Was true realtime till then. I guess many new fellows have joined and the server is taking extra load now. I hope they fix it. Opened MCX account as well with RKG. Customer service is good and so far no issues except for delayed quotes. Had this issue a couple of times with Sharekhan but it went away soon.

Its been a few days and everything is going smooth. I opened a HDFC account and wanted to link it for instant transfers. Sent an email and followed up with a phone call and it was done in 2 days. Much better customer service than many other brokers. Now fund transfers are instant, I have tried it out. The ODIN client is excellent (except that there is no useful charting) and it is quick and efficient. No timeouts or missed trades. Every trade execution is instant and at a good price. I tried trading currencies, futures, options over the past few days. Uptime of trading connection is 100% for me so far with RKG.
Yesterday Sharekhan web version would not display quotes for a couple of hours and I could not trade with them. They definitely have issues every now and then both with the terminal and web. I withdrew all my money and transferred to RKG. RKG web version continues to be excellent for short spells of trading away from my main computer, but is slow compared to ODIN.

If this performance of RKG continues I will be a very happy customer for years to come.

I don't think they have any customer services department or concept of email.
Don't know how existing customers are being treated there.
I want to open and account with them and wanted more information on documents and other formalities but no replies even after 5-6 emails.

The only thing good about RK is the brokerage. Rest all is what you experienced.

If you insist on opening account with them, the best way would be to see if there is any sub-broker for RK in your city. He's the one who will have all the details and will have the phone numbers of RK biggies to get the job done.

This kind of support is a must, when you are facing technical problems in trading.

The only thing good about RK is the brokerage. Rest all is what you experienced.

The other day I opened an account as usual signing at 30 odd places
in the sheets at 4 places per page.(top-bottom-left-right).I waited
patiently for a month or so.Then ,I wrote to them.In reply ,I got this
message."Sir,you applied for DP account with us.For regular trading you
need to apply SEPARATELY."Planning to close this account other-
wise ,I have to shell out money for an idle DP account.
