R K Global Issues!

Re: RKG Stock Watch quantity

This is a heads up for RKG users who also use Odin Diet for equity -- for the past couple of days, there seems to be issues with the Stock Watch quantities.

- During pre-market, most of the scripts do not show. As a result, placing pre-market sell orders is currently not possible.

- Today, most of the scripts were showing 1 short in quantity after market opened. For example, Siemens showed 89 instead of 90. This subsequently corrected after 9:30 am.

- Currently, a few scripts are showing 1 extra. Some scripts show quantities that do not tally with my records. Also, my LIQUIDBEES holding is showing as 1 whereas it should be far more than that.

- Will try to verify DP holdings with back-office at the end of day.
Hi WL,
In the initial stages, I trade with Sharekhan. From 0900 to 0907 only Nifty
changes ,afterwards Nifty won't move till 0915.After 0907 scrips with Bid-Ask
rate will showup(Earlier scrips with all Zeros).

Columbus, are you describing the price behavior in Sharekhan? If so, Odin Diet also shows the same behavior -- initially Nifty values display, a random time between 9:07 and 9:08 the Nifty50 constituent display.

The recently introduced price discovery session between 9 and 9:15 is certainly confusing for determining likely opening price. And in Odin Diet (I think you use RKG's web version), the displayed prices do not help in placing pre-market orders. Also, as you mention, showing prices as zero and not as previous day's close, requires you to use another platform to keep track of previous close (I use QuoteTracker).

Hi whyLately,

0900-0907....Nifty only
0908-0915....Buffer Period
0915 onwards ....Regular trading.

I do not know what SEBI/Govt. has a achieved by introducing Price Discovery
mechanism. They have lost all the taxes between 0900-0915.

Hi! columbus,
I came to know a lot of things about RKG after reading your posts, i wz vry keen to open an account with them but i am confused about market order feature, Does RKG offer Odin with "Market Order" ?
i called their chennai and delhi offices and funny thing is chennai office replied that their Odin supports 'Market Order' bt Delhi office said No...
plzz...rply its very important for Me,
currently I am paper trading and getting some trading experience by playing yahoo virtual trading game.
If RKG Odin dsnt support Market order then i'l gO with Angel broking.
Thanks...plzzz...rply.
Hi PLayEr!,

When you are putting a BUY order in RKG,the price is
automatically filled with LTP.I think it is better than
changing it MKT price, since you tend to lose a frac-
tion of second.
But this feature is not available ,when placing a
square off order. That mean ,when you square-off
an order, the price in not filled with LTP.

As of today, quantities are reflecting correctly in Stock Watch.

Except LIQUIDBEES. A couple of emails to customer care and a couple of calls to Delhi resulted in them doing something and a "you will see it after two minutes". That script is now visible. Case closed.

hI! colombus,
Thanks for the reply, i understand that fraction of a second delay but incase of 'highly volatile scrip' order wont execute because of price difference and then One can loose many fraction of seconds or even the opportunity[please correct me if i am wrong].
Whylately answered my Query, Odin supports Market Order for Nse cash segment by leaving price field blank....:clapping:
Once again a special thanks to whylately and you for being so helpful.
Thanks.

Hi player,

One +ve aspect of RKG is it's SPEED. Order execution is rather fast.
Mainly I deal with FUTURES. Since futures are more volatile than equities,
time does matter a lot when dealing with Futures.

Dear Friends
Biggest advantage of RKG is lowest Brokerage. I m trading in Futures of Nifty, Stocks & total brokerage + other taxes, charges comes to nearly Rs. 100 to 150 (including buy n Sell). This give us advantage for getting out of Nifty position within 10 points. While in other brokers case where brokerage will be 100 to 300 we have to wait for rising or falling of nifty futures by 20 points after which we can earn profit that to less.
I am happy to trade with RKG.

ICICI Direct Brokerage Plans too costly.

In option trading they are charging Rs.95/- per lot brokerage + other charges n taxes. They will charge minimum brokerage per lot Rs.65/- +++ only if you trade above 600 lots in a month. Here in RKG we are charged Rs.9/- whatever you trade. See the difference.
Same if we see in Futures they are charging 0.05% of turnover + other charges n taxes. If we trade in nifty of turnover 300000/- it comes Rs.150/- +++
Here also they will charge minimum brokerage of 0.02% of turnover + other charges n taxes but only you cross monthly turnover of Rs.20 crores. So for nifty turnover of Rs. 300000/- it comes to Rs.60/-+++ which is even more than our Rs. 9/- per lot.

I am really wondering how RKG are making profits with such less charges & is there company really able to remove the expenses in today's high inflation market.

Just to share with your guys
Bye Njoy the weekend

Hi ashpats,

Recently AMIT, CEO of RKG, donated 22Lakhs to Dhoni for SAVE TIGERS
campaign.So profit is there.

If anybody from RKG comes forward ,to explain how RKG costs over
respective house in case of NIFTY ,MINIFTY and BANKNIFTY ,it is
highly appreciable.
