In case of Futures N Options Segment :
I had opted for Web based version as it give me flexibility to trade from anywhere. Even if I m in Office or Home or outside anywhere I m able to trade. Also charges are less per segment around les than Rs.200/-. You take any option Odin or web base its worth even if that charge. See 330/- per mont is too cheap. If you trade thru other broker who are charging 100 to 200 per lot & if you are doing atleast 10 trades in month your brokerage will go more than Rs. 2000/- whereas in RKG it for 10 trades buy + sell brokerage will be somewhere Rs.200/- + your charges 330/- so the total 530/-. Even after that you are saving 1500/- & if more trades then you will save more.

I think it really depends on how one trades. If its multi-lot trade, Jerodha will be cheaper. If trading involves gradual position sizing in and out, Jerodha will be costlier. I'm talking about day trading. I've been with RKG for many years and when their server is down, all their phones lines become like they are off-the-hook-till-server is back. I've been in many situations with open positions and unable to get through their phones (even mobiles). This doesn't happen frequently but does remain as a nagging alert in mind while trading smaller time frames.
Most irritating thing about Odin is that if its window is not top-most for few minutes, you need to put in pass word again.
In October RKG called to try NOW but withdrew it next day. Possibly they would have lost revenue of Odin subscription.
For day trading its not only minimum brokerage but the reliable and lightening fast data are equally critical, imho, especially trading tick charts (scalpers), M5 or M15. I hope since NOW is maintained by NSE and data comes to trader without intervening broker's server, trading scalping time frames will be better.
On RKG yesterday's average per lot NF brokerage and all taxes were Rs. 105.24 (both sides).
