R K Global Issues!

I m infoline user but thinking of R K GLOBAL ...
see the difference in brokerage..
in futures infoline charges @ 0.03% = around 170 rs (with ST)..
and 100/ lot options = 200 + 22 (ST)
minimum 5 nifty points for breakeven
Now compare this to RKG @ 9 / lot = 18 + 2 (ST)
only 2 nifty points for breakeven..

other than brokerage, infoline service, their TTadvance is good with charting capabilities..but recently problems encountered...hangs especially when you need urgently/ fast action.. ....
not sure about ODIN DIET...

In RKG they have written in their website about so many charges like software charges, web based charges, documents / bills charges, courier charges,... trade for call charges @ 25 per call...etc.
I think it will reach around Rs 2000 pm with all includ, for their indiatrades account ( @ 999 pm)...but even then it is much cheaper for me, almost 25 % compared to infoline..so welcome RKG..:thumb:
nac and other RKG clients , whats your experience? how much you have to shell out per month..? regarding ODIN ? call per trade ..is it good ? I may have to frequently use this , because of broadband problems at my end ..at present i just phone to infoline franchise here..and they do as said..

I have been using RKG ODIN for three weeks. This is my experience.
Most Most Most Most of the time TTAdv prints are faster than ODIN. So I use IIFL to watch market. I use ODIN just to place orders. Order execution seems to be good. Its far far far better than TTAdv.
In this three weeks I haven't called to place orders. So I can't comment on this. But sure they would charge you Rs. 25/- per order execution. If there is a problem with Broadband, better don't trade and be in peace. Fix the issue and resume trading.

Hi RKG traders,

I have noticed that last week, R,K, Global security is no longer there.
Initially they has some problem with the certificate popup message stating that the website had a problem. Now the security certificate is no longer there at all !!!!

Even their website trading url is changed from https://rkglobal.net/rkglobal to http://rkglobal.net/rkglobal Notice that it is NO LONGER HTTPS (http secure) rather it has been changed to HTTP (plain Hyper Text Transfer Protocol)

This can be hacked very easily and is insecure. Same with ODIN !!! I don’t understand why RKGlobal has compromised on security to such a large extent to save on a proper security certificate for their servers ?

On calling them up, the custoemr care has no idea about what I am talking about and say that it is taken care of by "the team".

Anyone can reply to this one ?

RKG charges hundred rupees for complete transaction (Buy+Sell)
or 50/- for one transaction.

i am still seeking answer to it. i only knw tht rkglobal charges Rs. 9 per lot for buy & Rs.9 per lot for sell aswell in F&O.

i dn knw what this 100 rs. (buy+sell) charges are. plz anyone explain.

RK Global charges as per their advertisement. If u buy & sell 1 lot of Nifty, u are giving brokerage (along with Service Tax on it) = Rs. (18+2) = Rs. 20
All other Taxes (Turnover charges, STT, Stamp Duty) are more or less equal everywhere. Those are govt. taxes collected by the broker and passed to the govt. So u can compare brokerage only between 2 brokers. Also since Service Tax is applicable to brokerage, hence if brokerage is reduced then this Service Tax also gets reduced.

In other brokers, if u calculate brokerage @ 0.03% in Future, then buying & selling 1 lot of Nifty future will amount to brokerage of Rs. 150. Service Tax will be Rs. 15. Thus Brokerage + Ser. Tax = Rs. 165 which is Rs. 20 in RK Global.
So, if Brokerage + All Taxes = Rs. 100 in RK Global then it will be Rs. 245 in other broker.

Hi Raj,

Though I have not tried last week ,on all other non-trading days
upon login a message "OMSserver is not up" appears,which is not
the case with other people.
I always login ,using http://www.rkglobal.net/rkglobal/, may be for
last 2 or 3 months.
One more thing about their carelessness is still their website shows
the trading timings are 955am-330pm.

Can anybody post a screenshot of RK Global contract note showing the details of charges for Futures/options. Many people have told me that they charge more then what they commit.
